This is a prototype waterline Tramp Steamer which will be used as the basis and case study for future 1:87 scale production models and kits. Based on an actual 50 meter vessel built in 1910, it is characteristic of small coastal freighters that sailed well into the early 1960's. It is built entirely by laser construction methods. Most of the detail work is by laser, castings from Crow River, brass and styrene. Both holds are detailed with cargo and can be arranged as desired. It was many hours of enjoyable labor.
Length overall is 24", breadth is 4", and height is 10.25". To enable shipping the masts are removable and it will require rigging work to complete. Ladder railings, life boats, and masts will be removed and separately packed prior to shipping.
